A Snow day!

It snowed yesterday and we had a blast! I wasn't planning on taking the boys out in the snow because Parker had been real sick this past week, and the night before was at the ER. But since Parker's fever was gone, and he was acting fine we all bundled up and went outside to play in the snow. Daddy grabbed the trash can lid and let the boys use it as a sled. I personally have never done that, and wasn't sure it would even work. But, daddy's "sled" worked really well. But then mom-mom showed up with a brand new sled for the boys. The new sled worked so much better then daddy's trash can lid sled. Although, I must say, that was a good idea on daddy's part!
Well, the older boys went sledding with daddy and I, while Dustin went inside with mom-mom. Dustin had been crawling in the snow prior, and he was really starting to get frozen. Dustin still had a good time in the snow, and this was his first time playing in it.
Daddy and I took the boys back behind our house and let them slide down the big hill on their new slide. Bradley and Parker laughed the entire way down the hill. Then, Bradley pointed to the steepest hill, and wanted to sled down it. Ugh.. daddy thought it would be fun, I did too, I never thought it would be such a "rough ride".
We all made our way to the top of the hill, and daddy and Bradley sat on the sled
together. They were going first, then I was going to ride down with Parker. Well, all was going good.. then toward the bottom of the hill I watched daddy and Bradley bounce off the sled. No one was hurt, but Bradley was afraid of the big hill after that. The sled hit a ground hog hole, and that was why they bounced off. So, Parker and I ended up not going down the big hill, and we moved back to the smaller one!

But it was still a great time. I am really looking forward to more snow now. I hope we get lots of it this year. It is a real pain trying to drive in it, and get to
and from our garage, but it is so much fun! So.. "let it snow, let it snow"!

I am also really looking forward to this Friday. Brad and I are supposed to go snow tubing with my brother. We have 3 free tickets! So I am sooo looking forward to that. I hope we do go, and nothing comes up that we can't go. I haven't gone sledding since I was twelve, and I really forgot how much fun it is!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! On New Year's eve Brad decided we should let the boys stay up to bring in the New Year. So a few minutes before midnight we bundled them up in their jackets, and went out on the front porch so the boys could make noise! Bradley & Parker took the stainless steel dog bowls and clanked them together. They enjoyed making the noise, and we lucked out and got to see some fireworks that a neighbor was setting off. So, it was pretty nice for Brad, myself, and our boys.

I do have some other good news to write about. The stressful crap that has been going on with a family member of mine, may finally be coming to an end. I am really hopeful that it does. My brother got something in the mail saying that the charges could be dropped if they did 3 things. So.. I am really hopeful this will all be over soon. It's not often that our family gets a happy ending. Usually when it all settles down, something else arises. It's never ending stress.

Bradley, Parker, and Dustin are all doing well. Bradley was excited to go back to preschool, Parker didn't seem to care to much. At preschool the boys
are learning sizes big & small, colors, and have even started singing parts of the alphabet.

Bradley, has really taken to his new video game system that mom-mom(my mom) got him. It's a V-smile, and he loves it. Bradley won't quit bugging daddy & mommy to let him play. I guess he's going to follow in daddy's footsteps when it comes to video games. Parker doesn't do to well with the video games.. yet! He is only two, and I guess those ten months between Bradley and Parker make a big difference. I am sure Parker will learn to do as well as Bradley with some time and practice.

Dustin is really learning fast. He is cruising around on furniture, and crawls so fast! Dustin plays games with me too. I will say "mama mommy, or
dada daddy" and Dustin will repeat. We also play patty cake, Dustin loves clapping his hands. Dustin also has me wrapped around his finger, as daddy says. Dustin is definitely a mommy's boy. Where ever I go, Dustin is right behind me following. When ever Dustin is tired he has to fall asleep in my arms, or he will scream and cry until I pick him up. He just wants to be close to me, and cuddle, Dustin is a real sweetie. Dusty also can eat soft foods, like pasta's, potatoes, pea's, overly cooked carrots, and whatever else I'm forgetting thats easy for a baby to gum. He also hates when you try to help him feed himself, Dustin just wants to do it himself, and he does a good job at it too.

Well, here are a few pictures that I took yesterday of my little men. There is only one picture of Bradley, because Bradley wouldn't cooperate like Parker. Dustin, was the same way as Bradley. So I have more good pictures of Parker t
hen the other two. Parker is so sweet, and willing to please. He is my little helper.

Christmas

The Holiday was OK. It was nice that my dad could be around, but there is still a lot of "unknown" ahead. I am afraid of what will happen, and how all of our lives will be ruined by one evil kid.

Bradley and Parker seemed to have an OK Christmas too. They weren't into it as much as I thought they would be. For their birthdays they both ripped into their gifts, but Christmas morning they didn't really want to bother opening anything. It was the same thing Christmas eve when they visited my husbands parents house.

Bradley, does love his new camera. I have to exchange Parker's because when we opened it, the cameras screen had a scratch on it. Parker, hasn't really cared though. Parker, just loves his little people toys, and his new fire engine too.

Dustin, got lots of new stuff too. He hasn't showed too much interest though since he has been sick. The day after Christmas Dustin started throwing up, and had to go to the dr. Then, the following day my mom, myself, then Bradley, and Brad all started throwing up. Parker, never threw up but has had horrible diarrhea (sorry if too much info) but it was horrible.

Well anyway I am just thankful that I have a great husband and mom, who even though they were both sick, they both pitched in and helped with the kids. It was so horrible throwing up and trying to be OK for a few minutes to help with the boys. That's all part of being a mom though. It's the best, but hardest job out there.

I forgot to add, Brad took the boys and I to Bass Pro Shops on Christmas eve. It was nice. Bradley, Parker, and Dustin all got their pictures done on Santa's lap, and colored a few pictures. Bradley even wrote a letter to Santa and put it in Santa's mail box that was their. Bradley & Parker also enjoyed trying to shoot the guns with daddy. They had two free games the kids could play (which were the guns).

Well, I am still feeling a bit sick, but just wanted to update this since Christmas is all over now.

6 more days!

There is only 6 more days until Christmas. I have all my Christmas shopping basically finished. I am looking forward to Bradley and Parker's face on Christmas morning when they come down the stairs and see all their presents. I'll be video taping it for sure. My mom got me a great video cam for an early Christmas gift.

Brad and I took the boys to Hershey Park on Wednesday night for Hershey's Christmas in the park. It was fun! The boys all enjoyed it, and it was nice spending fun time together. It made me forget about all the bad things currently going on. Bradley and Parker got on all the rides, and some with daddy. Brad didn't think Bradley was tall enough to get on the Reces cup challenge with him, but I had Bradley stand up against the measuring board, and he was actually a Hershey kiss! Brad was really surprised, and was glad Bradley could get on the ride with him. Bradley scored 2,500 points, and daddy scored like 4,500 or more, I don't really remember. But Bradley's was pretty impressive for a three year old. Parker was real upset about not being able to get on the ride, so I told Brad to try and see if they'd let him get on. Parker was maybe an inch shy of the height restriction. So, in the end Parker did get to ride with daddy too. It was a fun night.

Christmas shopping

Well, today I plan on finishing all my Christmas shopping. That means a pretty busy day. Of course my hubby isn't even awake yet (it's 10:30am), so I'm not sure when we will get out the door. (My husband works the late shift, so don't go judging and saying he's lazy!)

Christmas has really snuck up on me this year, and I haven't been in much of a "Christmasy" mood. I guess with all the crap going on with my family, I haven't been thinking too much about the Holidays. At first I had really high expectations about the Holidays, I thought they would be great because my brother was coming home from Iraq. But, instead, Brandee and her kid f***ed up everything again. Let, me tell ya, this is not the first time. It's just sad.

Even though I'm not in a Christmasy mood, I still want to make sure my kids have a great Christmas. Bradley is 3 now, and really starting to get into the swing of Christmas. He's real excited, and believes Santa is bringing him gifts. It's been harder this year, now that I have to sneak around and rap and hide all the gifts. Parker is excited too, and he seems to understand about how Santa is going to bring him gifts. Parker is two, and only ten months younger then his big brother Bradley. Dustin, is only nine months, so he won't know much. Dustin was with me while I was rapping gifts, and was actually playing with one of his Christmas gifts before I even got to rap it! But that's ok, at least I know he likes it!

I am looking forward to Christmas at the boys Preschool. I know they will be doing a real small Christmas show for just the parents on December 22nd. My mom bought me a new video camera so I will be recording the little show they have. I'm pretty excited about it. The paper they sent home with my boys says it's an ice cream & cookie party. The kids will prepare and serve their parents cookies, and then sing a few songs. I can't believe thats only ten days away! Time just seems to be flying by.

And it's only 13 days until Christmas!! Wow, I am soooo far behind.

Stress!!

I wrote a while back about a family issue that has come about. Well, all was quiet until recently, and now it has come back up, just in time for Christmas.

So, here's the story: My brother met this girl 9.5 years ago, her name I won't mention. He has been with her all these years except when the drug addict b**** ran off to Georgia with his kids and was missing for almost two years. They have had tons of problems through out the years, and our family has always said he should have left. She has beaten the crap out of my brother, and he is one of those guys that say "you should never hit a woman". I swear this woman, needs her ass kicked. She has called the cops on my brother on numerous occasions, and he's always the one in trouble even though he's the one with bite marks, bruises and cuts all over him. Even when I took pictures of this, he's the one in trouble.
Well, anyway this woman has a child from a previous relationship, and this kid has been in our family since she was 1.5! We looked at her as if she was part of our family. This kid is now very screwed up (just like her drug addict mother). So, she lies to get her way. My brother was in Iraq for a long time, and during this time my father took this woman and my brothers kids in. My brothers step daughter comes up with an outrageous lie. This lie isn't even something she says happened recently but something she claims happened when she was five. The kids eleven now. Everyone knows it is a lie, because at age five she was never near my dad. Not only that, whenever my brother and all those kids were there, they were never alone. So it is impossible. I am just so angry about it all. So this woman.. who unfortunately is my brothers finance, got in a big fight with my dad while she was staying there, and it just so happened that after that fight was when the kid came up with this lie. So go figure! What a coincident.

So, these social workers that have gotten involved, visited my brothers house yesterday, and told them that they were going to issue a arrest warrant for my dad. They said this before too, and it never happened. So, low and behold the kid is finally fessing up and saying it's all a lie. After letting all this crap get so far, and out of control. Now, I don't know what is going to happen. Since this kid is finally saying she lied, I am hoping this will all stop and go away. I know my brother just wants the family to be back like it used to be. But, I know it never will. I don't want my boys near that lying kid. Not only is that kid a liar, but she's a thief, and she's violent. This kid, has stolen things from her aunts house, from our house, my dads house, even school, and neighbors and friends homes. She was caught in school stealing a year book from another child, and LIED about it. She also was caught at one of her friends houses steeling from her own friend. The neighbors wouldn't even allow this kid over to play, because she was caught steeling money. Ugh, it really is ashame. For only being eleven years old, this kid is so messed up. I know she has gotten like this because of her mother, who was always heavy on drugs and alcohol. Sadly, when we tried to step in years ago and report all the stuff with the kids mother, social services didn't want to hear it. Then the kids mother ran off to Georgia. So, this is what the kid turned into. I just hope and pray that my dad doesn't get arrested for something he did not do. I don't want my kids to spend Christmas with out seeing their pop-pop. My boys love their pop-pop. My brothers REAL daughters love their pop-pop and his sons too. My brother's biological kids never believed what their half sister claimed either. I'm just glad this kid is fessing up, and hope she tells the cops, & social workers the truth about how she's lying. All the kid cares about is getting in trouble, she doesn't care about anything else.

Christmas pictures

On my Birthday Brad and I took the boys to portrait innovations to have our Christmas pictures done. I couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better! For the first time ever we had a male photographer. This guy was great! He did one hell of a job making the boys smile, and really worked with them. Parker smiled for the picture of all 3 boys together, but Parkers so tough the only other smiles I got were smirks. I'm happy with a smirk though! Compared to Parker's normal evil stare pictures! If anyone is in the York, PA area I highly recommend going to the Portrait Innovation place by Best buy. I think our photographers name was Kyle. But he did a really good job, compared to other places I have taken our boys. It was a pretty good B-day gift from my hubby. It means a lot to me to have pictures of our family, and my boys while they are still babies. I know I will miss this when they are older.

Something else I liked about Portrait Innovation's was how quickly you get your pictures back. I think it was maybe 20 minutes - half hour when our pictures were ready for pick-up. That was nice! It wasn't like your normal photo studio setting.
My boys seemed more comfortable there versus Sears, or Walmart. Well, here are the pictures we purchased. I'll start with the family picture.
